Amazon on Super Smash Bros Release

Amazon might have the release date of Super Smash Bros. 3DS and Wii U

I recently revived an email from Amazon about my pre-ordered copy of Super Smash Bros. 3DS. It stated that my package will arrive on January 5th, 2015, in contrast to the Summer 2014 release date we had gotten from Sakurai, director of Super Smash Bros. 3DS and Wii U. 

Amazon said this is an estimated time of release, yet it seems more Super Smash Bros. Wii U, releasing Winter 2014/2015. What do you think? Is this the final release date for the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros.?
