Miiverse Screenshots 1.27.14-1.31.14 In this screenshot, Rosalina and Luma can be seen in the Super Mario Galaxy stage on Wii U. This is Rosalina's down special move called Gravitational Pull that sucks up weapons and items. While this move is in use, you cannot use the weapons or items.

In this screenshot, it shows Ike and Link use the new Beetle item from the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword in the Skyloft level. The Beetle is a comical item that lifts players up and carries them in the air.
In this screenshot, it shows the statue of the Goddess of Light (also known as Palutena) in the Kid Icarus themed stage on Wii U. A while back I found two leaked screenshots hinting at Palutena being the newest playable character. (If you haven't read it, click here.) This is the strongest evidence that supports the images so far. In this screenshot, it s…

Yoshi's New Island Trailer and Commentary

A new Yoshi's New Island trailer has been released. This trailer reveals that transformations, last seen in Yoshi's Island DS, has returned such as the Yoshi Tank and Yoshicopter. It's a shell of a time! Carter

3DS owners have enjoyed a seemingly endless library of 1st party games from Nintendo pouring onto the system beginning its 3rd year on shelves. A move taken after the N64 was released, the SNES Mini was bundled with Yoshi's Island. If this hints at a new mobile console or end of Nintendo's support of the system, it has not been mentioned. Yoshi's New Island takes place directly after the events of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. The game is aimed towards younger audiences and may not suite any big Mario fan, but sure seems to be a shot to increase the sales of the 2DS and 3DS for younger audiences. Super Smash Bros. Palutena and more..

Screenshots, announcements, and more!
No new characters were announced this week.
Palutena (Rumored) A big rumor is going around the internet that Palutena from Kid Icarus: Uprising is joining the upcoming Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS. The screenshots of Palutena in Super Smash Bros. 3DS were said to be leaked, but could be edited by the fact Sakurai did not announce she's playable.
Miiverse screenshots 1/20/14-1/25/14 In this screenshot, it shows Mario in a vine-inhabited stage in some kind of single player mode. Sakurai stated that the game will not feature Subspace Emissionary-like story mode that was in Brawl. This screenshot shows Rosalina and Luma on a unknown stage. Sakurai explains that shown here is Luma Shot, showing different ways you can control your Luma. For example, you can choose if you want Luma to fight alongside Rosalina or fight separately. This screenshot shows Link trumping Mario's grab on the Battlefield stage on Wii U. Although not much else is going on…

Alienware Steambox to be released in September

Alienware showed off their Steam PC running Steam OS at CES 2014, but didn't explain many details. The specifications for the device aren't yet announced, but it is announced that it will have an Intel CPU and NVIDIA GPU. Pricing is said to be around $450 to $600, possibly more with larger configurations. This is all speculation of course, but you can explore more from the FAQ page over at Alienware's website.

Best portable Mario games (DS, DSi, 3DS)

The DS game came out in 2006 with a goal to re-amp the Super Mario Bros. series with an all new game. It came with new and memorable power-ups, such as the mega mushroom, the mini mushroom, and the blue turtle shell. It's loads of fun to play on the go, and the best of the New Super Mario Bros. series in my opinion.
Grant's comment: Plus this game is becoming harder to find and is almost a collectors item. The price at a retail store still holds at around $30 for the game new. Check out the website over at Nintendo.

The N64 classic Super Mario 64 came to the newly announced Nintendo DS at the time, and was an instant hit. Settle changes were made to the game, such as a vs. mode, a rec room where you could play minigames (also found in New Super Mario Bros.), and the ability to play as Yoshi, Luigi, and Wario, all with difftrent powers. It as well could be the best 3D portable Mario game of all time.
Super Mario 3D Land came as a launch title for the new 3DS, bringing bac…
