Shulk revealed in Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS

Shulk was revealed in the August 29th Pic of The Day, a redeeming quality to an otherwise boring news week. I won't be going into full analysis of him but he plays a little differently than other characters, using his Monado Sword to control what stats he has at a time, and Sakurai goes in-depth in his Pic of The Day:

"Pic of the day. From Xenoblade Chronicles, Shulk joins the battle!! He's not the type of character that would usually appear in the Smash Bros. series, but we worked really hard to make it happen. We're very happy with how he turned out. This stage is Gaur Plain."

"Shulk's sword, the Monado, slashes enemies with a beam when activated, so it can strike from long range. What really makes this weapon unique is that when the Monado Arts are activated, it can change Shulk's features and abilities! Emerge victorious in battle by changing your abilities strategically!!"

Ultimate NES Remix Coming To 3DS This November

Today, Nintendo revealed they will be bringing Wii U eShop exclusive NES Remix series to the 3DS in Ultimate NES Remix. Physical and eShop copies are planned, it will have a leaderboard and championship mode, but not much else is known about it. Given my feelings on the first NES Remix for the Wii U, it doesn't really appeal to me, but if you want to try it out, it launches in North America on November 5th.

Super Smash Bros. Leak Catches Nintendo's Attention and Grows

Ever since the first leaks of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS came out last week, people all over the internet have been speculating on what may be true and what may be false. So far, nobody has been able to truely debunk these rumors and Nintendo denied so far saying anything about these leaks.

Game Informer contacted Nintendo to find out what they had to say about these massive leaks: “We have nothing to announce at this time. For the list of announced playable characters for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS please visit:”;

The first bit of news that we have to support our evidence are screenshots of the game leaked by one ESRB employee. The screenshots look like pictures sent to Nintendo that may be deemed inappropriate or may raise the rating; such as images of scantily-dressed females as Candy Kong and gross-outs such as revealing the description of Wario's trophy, which also officially confirms Wario's inclusion. If you want to se…
